To fulfil an element of the Digital Maker Stage 1 Activity Badge each Beaver designed their own favicon. A favicon, also known as a shortcut icon, website icon, tab icon, URL icon, or bookmark icon, is a file containing one or more small icons, associated with a particular website or web page. The Beavers designed these on paper by colouring in squares on a 16 x 16 grid. A PC camera was used to import examples into a “Create a Campsite” project in Scratch2 and examples were viewed as Google Chrome bookmark icons.
